At Animal Rescue of New England, we believe that you can’t buy love, but you can certainly adopt it. Our 501(c)3 non-profit organization is dedicated to making sure that dogs and cats in need find the loving homes they deserve. But what sets us apart from other animal shelters and rescues?

First and foremost, we are a 100% foster-based rescue located in Rhode Island. This means that our animals are not kept in a shelter environment but are placed in loving foster homes, where they receive the care and attention they need. This approach allows us to better understand their personalities and behaviors, ensuring we can match them with the perfect forever homes.

Additionally, we rescue animals from high kill shelters, abandonment, and neglectful situations, giving them a second chance at life. We are proud of the fact that every year, we save the lives of hundreds of homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.
