DESCRIPTION:Join us at our biggest adoption event of the year! Get the pick of the litter by submitting your applications early!\n\nApply directly to Animal Rescue of New England HERE.\n\n\nGeneral Adoption Event Information\nYou will start your application on the day of the event. Then the rescue will process your application during the event or shortly after the event. \nClick on this link to see what to bring with you to get in the best shape possible for event day screening. \nComplete the form above and then we will email you a personalized early entry “Golden Ticket”\, a copy of your early entry form information\, and lots of other information. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT?\nBring all your paperwork with you\, including vet records with vaccination records and proof of use\, or receipts for online purchase of heartworm preventative and annual HW testing for current or previous pets and if possible a written reference from your veterinarian. Also bring phone numbers for accessible personal references and proof of home ownership or pet friendly lease\, with an approval letter from your landlord. \nBring your dog for meet and greets and someone to take him/her to “doggie check in” as he/she can’t go inside. Also bring his/her rabies proof (tag or certification) and your ID. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY?\nIf there are several applications for the same dog\, that rescue will choose the best fit for the dog. With this in mind\, it is a good idea to apply for more than one dog. If you find a dog you want to adopt\, remember to ask if there are any other people who have applied to adopt him/her. \nOnly some of our rescues can adopt to MA residents\, M.A. has extra quarantine regulations\, so MA residents will have to wait a couple of days before they can bring their doggie home and pay MA’s required boarding fee. \nIf you have any more questions check out our FAQ page
